Elephant Baby Boom! Kenya Celebrates Record Number of Calves
Share
NAIROBI – It’s a giant celebration in Kenya! Amboseli National Park has reported an unprecedented "baby boom" with over 300 elephant calves born in the last year.
After years of drought, the rains have returned, and conservation efforts are paying off. The sight of hundreds of tiny trunks playing in the mud is the ultimate proof that nature can bounce back when given a chance.
"An elephant never forgets, and neither will we. This generation of calves is a symbol of hope for the entire species."
